ABOUT ME

Sukhmani Sandhu is a third-year journalism and history student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is pursueing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Minor in History. She currently works at Kwantlen Polytechnic University's student newspaper, The Runner, as the Social Media Reporter. She creates social media videos, long-form videos and contributes as a writer and photographer to The Runner, as well.

As a journalist, Sukhmani is most interested in stories about politics, agriculture, education, social issues and community-based journalism. She wants to document communities who are often misrepresented or forgotten by mainstream media, including her own.
