ABOUT ME

Sukhmani Sandhu is a fourth-year journalism student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and is pursueing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.

She is the Associte Editor at The Runner, Kwantlen Polytechnic University's student newspaper. As part of the editorial team, she edits every story The Runner publishes, creates graphics, and helps lead the team to create journalism reflective and relevant to her campus community.

Previously, Sukhmani was the Social Media Reporter at The Runner, where she created social media videos, long-form videos and contributes as a writer and photographer to The Runner, as well.

As a journalist, Sukhmani is most interested in stories about politics, agriculture, social issues, women's sports, and community-based journalism.
